What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
James 2:14 - 18
The Holy Christian Scriptures have been consistent throughout its records from the Book of Genesis to the Book of Revelation. But today we see a worldwide “Christianity” that totally bears no resemblance to the faith taught and practiced by the original Apostles handpicked by JESUS CHRIST. Read how a great counterfeit has been teaching lies and blaspheming GOD since its very foundation in The Consistency Of The Holy Scriptures.
And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.
Sound so much like what they are teaching is true doesn't it, that Paul actually said that? Only problem is Paul also wrote,
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
And he also wrote,
Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work,
But how about in Galatians 5 verse 4 when Paul wrote,
You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.
I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.
But then he also wrote,
And also in Romans 2 verses 12 and 13
For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified;
So was the Apostle Paul contradicting himself? If he was, then he shouldn't be believed. Truth of the matter is, he was not. His writings are confusing to those who lack understanding of the concepts and contexts on what he wrote about.
The context of Paul's writing whenever it came to the subject of grace were focused on and discussing circumcision particularly, and generally the ritualistic laws as well as those pertaining to the sacrificial offerings of the Old Testament. These involved eating and drinking, washing and various sacrificial rituals. For the full discussion on what are the differences between the New Covenant made in the BLOOD of JESUS CHRIST and the Old Covenant of the Ten Commandments, please read the post on ‘The New Covenant’ in this work.
What Peter was saying clearly and unmistakably was that self-proclaimed, untaught and unstable (Psalm 71:17; John 6:45; 1 Thessalonians 4:9), theologians and religious experts were twisting the writings of Paul as well as all the Scriptures earning for themselves destruction in the day of GOD's judgment.
In 2 Corinthians 6 verse 1 Paul wrote:
Was it not the same Paul who wrote:
He explicitly, clearly and plainly stated:
Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing, but keeping the commandments of God is what matters.
1 Corinthians 7:19
For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
These can be summed up (i.e. summarized) as:
Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son.
2 John 1:9
To get a more complete understanding on the writings of the Apostle Paul who they appeared to be so confusingly self contradicting in all his Epistles, please read the chapters ‘Grace, Sin and The Commandments of GOD’ and ‘The Elect’.
Then the LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”
Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Here's what GOD said after Adam had eaten the fruit that GOD commanded him not to eat:
Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat of it’: ..........
Did it sound like GOD was saying, “It is OK, those commandments bring death and cannot make you righteous, just go on and live your life as it seems right to you?”
In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread Till you return to the ground, For out of it you were taken; For dust you are, And to dust you shall return.
So all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years; and he died.
For the discussion of what actually transpired in the Garden of Eden that would lead to GOD evicting the first family of mankind from the Garden just because they ate some fruits of a tree, please read the post ‘The Tree of Knowledge’ of the blog, ‘The Scripture of Truth’ of this work. And not it was not because Adam had sex with his wife, Eve, as has been the blasphemous lie of the Christmas religion for hundreds of years since.
Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life?
And furthermore, it is not angels who will control the future world we are talking about.
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
