Now if you have decided to repent and to turn from all your ways to sincerely seek GOD's will and seek to obey HIS voice keeping HIS commandments, charges and instructions. Where do you start?

For a start read this blog article very carefully and thoroughly making sure you are clear on all the instructions and cautions.

Prayer is the channel of communication that GOD made available to all who seek HIM (Psalm 20:27). It is the first and proper channel to address GOD whom we do no see. In prayer we express our belief in HIM submitting our request and supplications, acknowledging HIM as our GOD and MAKER, the ONE who has absolute power, authority and right over us. Prayer is a form of worship (i.e. believing faith of complete obedience).

Abraham the Father of the Faithful prayed (Genesis 20:7, 17).  Moses the mediator of the Old Covenant and a Prophet of GOD prayed (Exodus 33:13; 34:9). Samuel the Prophet prayed (1 Samuel 12:23). David a man after GOD's own heart prayed (2 Samuel 24:10). Solomon the wisest man who ever lived prayed (1 Kings 8:28). Noah (Genesis 8:20), Daniel (Daniel 6:10) and Job (Job 10:9), three of the most righteous of men prayed.

JESUS CHRIST prayed (Matthew 14:23; 19:13; 26:39; Mark 1:35; 6:46; 14:39; Luke 11:1; John 17:9, 20). And JESUS CHRIST taught that all man should pray and not lose heart.

Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, saying: “There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’ And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man, yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’”
Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them?
Luke 18:1 – 7

And JESUS CHRIST as the LORD GOD taught the same thing (Matthew 21:13) to the Old Testament nations of Judah and Israel.

Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, And make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices Will be accepted on My altar; For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”
Isaiah 58:7

But if you are a person who had never believed in any god before, or a person who do not know the true GOD the CREATOR of all things, how would you address your prayer? And how should you pray? Who do you address?

How about if you were a convert to another religion, one of the many religions of this world? What if you were a convert to the Christmas religion, either the mother church or one of the many daughter churches? Or even another Antichrist religion as indeed there are many Antichrist religions (1 John 2:18 second part) in the world aside from the Christmas religion?

If you are already a convert to the true Christianity, a baptized member of the one true Church of GOD or the over a hundred so called Churches of God, do you have to do anything? See the answer at the end of this title.

How do you address a GOD that you have never known?

First if you have not done so before and not done so yet, start reading the Christian Bible. There are many translations of the Christian Bible out there. Some are fairly accurate translations, others are almost totally useless as a vehicle to learn about the true GOD because they had been so totally interpreted by the views and beliefs of those who translated them that a beginning or new student would more likely to be led into believing lies promoted by these translators. So in choosing a Christian Bible to start with — yes if you are serious about learning the truth about the GOD of the Christian Holy Scriptures you will, over time need to reference more than one translation — chose one that sticks as closely as possible to the original text of the Holy Christian Scriptures.

In the first reading don't be too meticulous examining every word and cross referencing all over the various Scriptures and passages. A good start is to do an overview reading to get the main ‘story’ line or the whole framework of the Word of GOD (both the Old Testament and the New Testament). Do the same in a second reading and even a third if desired. There are bound to be a lot of verses and passages that to you may be confusing and sometimes might not make sense or not seem to be fair, just or right. Leave this as provisionally not understood. In any study of any large pool of knowledge, no one can immediately understand all there is.

The process of learning anything takes time, sometime even after a whole lifetime or even after multiple lifetimes still many things are not understood. For almost six thousand years (i.e. from the context of the records of the Christian Holy Scriptures) until just one to two hundred years ago, the Genesis account could not be fully understood until sufficient amount of knowledge on our existence in our reality, this universe and our planet earth has been arrived at as is the case today, starting from around over a hundred years ago. You can read about this in the post, ‘Genesis’ of this blog.

The first few readings is to understand and be familiar with the explicitly clear lessons, commandments and instructions. All these should provide you with a starting basis to understand the GOD of the Christian Bible, who HE is and what HE instructed, commanded and taught. Very important at this point is not to read materials from other sources (yet) as these might mislead you. Material published by this author is naturally an exception, unless you do not think you can trust this author which is your prerogative. Being not contrary to my own understanding and beliefs I expect very, very few to believe me or to trust me but strongly discourage the lies loving general public (the far greater majority of mankind) from reading this work unless they adamantly insisted to (please read the content warning to understand that you are adamantly insisting on reading this work). All materials are presented as information for the readers to make their own decisions.

Even as you begin to read the Word of GOD recorded in the Christian Holy Scriptures and translated into the Christian Bible of today, you must begin to pray. In prayer one very important thing is sincerity and seeking for truth. Nothing is hidden from GOD and indeed nothing can be. If you have never known the GOD of the Christian Bible start your first prayer on that acknowledgment. Pray to the GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as recorded in the words of the Christian Bible. Pray to the GOD and FATHER of the LORD JESUS that the four gospel accounts in the Bible documented. The GOD of the Bible is a merciful and compassionate GOD who created us that HE may be our GOD and a FATHER to us.

Do not pray to a god that you, on your own reasoning and logic had conceptualized in your mind. If you do, you are only praying to a god of your own creation (i.e. a god you have made up or invented), just like the wood, metal and stone images that many people of the world pray to.

In prayer humble yourself, do not lie and seek to justify yourself in any manner, but in all prayers seek for the truth. If need be, go through all things you are going to pray about before falling on your knees to pray.

A first prayer should cover the following:
1. Acknowledge GOD as your owner and master. HE has absolute right (not to mentioned power) over you whether you accept it or not.
2. Humble yourself and realize that you are really nothing more than just another meaningless microscopic cosmic dust being blown in the winds of space and time. Sincerely (if it is not sincere it can only condemn you as a lying fraud and moronic fool who thinks he can pull a fast one pass GOD) thank GOD and give praise and glory to HIM that HE had created you for an awesome forever future if you would only submit completely to trust HIM, to be lead by HIM totally, without resisting. This will be very difficult if you have been a lying fraud all your life but GOD is merciful, HE looks at the attitude in your heart towards HIM, so just be honest and sincere, or at least try you level best to be. If you have difficulty being sincere, confess it don't deny it. Then put in your best effort continually (not just one off) no matter how difficult it is. The continual best effort itself to be sincere is a sincerity.
3. Confess that you are a sinner and pray for forgiveness. Full details of all your sins do not need to be presented. This however does not mean that you should be unclear yourself about your sins and failings that are evident to you. Overtime you will learn and become acquainted with more and more sins in yourself. The first step to overcoming (repenting) is to be clear on what you need to overcome before you can even get into the methodology and discipline (not to mention the Spirit) needed to do so.
4. Submit and truly humble (not  in pretending to, as so many had done) yourself to be led by GOD asking HIM to direct you in seeking HIM. Then always be aware and cognizant of this by keeping this always in your mind in everything you do and endeavor to do. Humility is not something that comes naturally to mankind, in all my life (not to say that there is a lot to it) I have not yet met nor ever known of a person who is truly and really humble (outside of the Biblical account in the person of the Prophet Moses). I have heard of (and known about) and also read about people who are seemingly humble but after finding out about them either personally or reading about their works from their own quoted words (Luke 6:45), saw through their self deceiving duplicity, putting up a front of humility to show off their humility. All my converted life I have tried (and am still trying) to have a humble attitude (I can't boast of any success), so the operative word is ‘try’ and try, and of not giving up trying. What is most important is we humble ourselves before (i.e. in the presence of) GOD (Luke 18:9 – 14).
5. Ask that GOD purge you of sin and self deceptiveness. Once you have been baptized, ask for the application of the BLOOD that JESUS CHRIST shed as HE died on our behalf, to cleanse and purify (i.e. sanctify) us from sin.
6. First prayers and all prayers should be to seek GOD's righteousness, will and Kingdom. Any and every other request and supplication should be framed by these (John 9:31; 1 John 5:14).
7. Be watchful and extra vigilant against the deceitfully of the heart. GOD is a GOD of Truth there is no falsehood and deception with HIM.

Pray regularly and often. A good routine would be first thing in the evening (or before going to sleep) and morning (not long after waking). There have been many lies advanced about prayer to GOD most of them are based and framed erroneously by the belief that GOD made unconditional promises to forgive, to heal, to hear, to grant and to bestow. Nearly all the promises made by GOD recorded in the Scripture of Truth are covenants' related promises. Covenants are binding agreements by which both parties need to perform the terms of the covenants. There are of course exception to these. And they are just that, exceptions not the usual or common.

JESUS CHRIST fasted (Matthew 4:2). The Old Testament prophets fasted (Exodus 34:28; Deuteronomy 9:18; 2 Samuel 12:16; Daniel 9:3; Esther 4:15-17 ). The Apostles of JESUS CHRIST fasted. But not the fast of the Christmas religion.

Regular fasting is an important aspect in the life of a true Christian. Fasting in the Scriptures refer to a period of going without food and water (solids and liquids for those who need to split hairs). A Christian fast is to go without food and water for a period of time. This period is normally anything from a 24 hours period to a longer period. The period can be anything from part of a day to several days. Usually a fast is for a twenty four hour day and may extend up to three or more days. Prolong fasting of more than one day (a 24 hours period) are for very very unusual situation and not recommended for everybody. Most fast are for a twenty four hour period usually starting at sunset, which is the beginning of a new day according to the Scripture of Truth. The current global system of starting a new day at midnight originated from the Babylonian Mystery religion just as is the starting of a new year in the middle of winter (for those countries that has four seasons) on January 1.

Fasting is both a special appeal to GOD as well as an expression of faith to rely on GOD rather than physical sustenance. It is not a vehicle to show off your righteousness or religiousness. Fasting are not meant to show off and to boast of your Spirituality or contriteness or humility or righteous or anything at all. Nor is it a tool to manipulate GOD to give you what you want or is asking for. Beware that you are not snared by these.

If you have never fasted before in your life you might want to spend a day or two preparing yourself both spiritually (attitude) and physically for the fast.

During the day of fasting try to minimize your activities and focus on prayer, meditation and Bible study. A fast is a symbolic denial of the self so keep your heart and mind away from all things that panders to the self.

After getting to know the Christian Bible and understanding its real message the next logical step is to make a decision whether you believe the message of the Christian Bible and the GOD of this Bible. Following on that is whether you choose to obey GOD and to align your life according to the CREATOR GOD's purpose and plan for you in HIS family. The GOD of the Bible requires all man (mankind) to make a choice. A choice to submit and obey GOD or to go on their own way as the whole world of mankind has since the Garden of Eden.

At this point some “rocket scientists” may ask, 'What if I do not believe the message of the Bible and the GOD of the Christian Bible?' I could answer that question but I won't because there comes a point when you just have to leave “rocket scientists” to their own devices.

Numerous are the times in our lives when we have to make temporary or provisionally decisions because we don't have all the information we need to make a final decision, and the situation requires either an immediate or an urgent decision. Other times the decision we have to make are not critical, as in life changing, so we can afford to make momentary or a non thoroughly thought through decision. But a decision to repent and turn to GOD seeking HIS will, to obey HIM as your GOD is not such a decision.

Now I am not saying that a decision to repent and turn your life from that of self expediency and rebellion against your CREATOR and MAKER is not a compulsory requirement. I am saying you have a choice, a choice of life (forever life) or of death, forever death (Deuteronomy 30:19).

The decision you are going to make have a forever consequence for you. That is why you must be very clear on what it involves, which is the steadfast forever commitment on your part and the certainty in you heart and mind. That is why you must thoroughly study the Christian Bible and continue to do so, in order that you know the GOD of the Christian Holy Scriptures and not be like the disciples of the Christmas religion who neither understand the Scripture of Truth nor know the CREATOR GOD whose Words are the “translated” text of the Christian Bible.

For those who are ready and want to make a commitment to change their lives direction and focus, these are the things you need to understand and be very clear on before you take that step to acknowledge the absolute right and authority of the ALMIGHTY CREATOR GOD over you and your commitment to completely, totally and absolutely trust, obey and depend on HIM.

Number One.

GOD created you and everything else that exist. HE owns you whether you accept it or not. Every possible thing that exist is HIS property. That means HE can do what ever HE will with them and none can question that. HE has absolute rights over everything including every man, woman, child and angel. That is the first thing you must understand and accept absolutely.

Number Two.

GOD created man to have the potential to be born into HIS DIVINE Family. This is via the begettal of GOD's HOLY SPIRIT (GOD'S HOLY SEED). That was and is GOD's unchanging purpose when HE first created Adam and Eve. The commitment you will make in baptism will see you one day born into GOD's DIVINE family in a 'resurrection' (a coming back to life, after you have died, as a Spirit being) or a 'quickening' (if you are alive, an instantaneous change from being a physical fresh and blood human being to a fully Spirit being). For all those call since the beginning until then this will happen at the return of JESUS CHRIST when the 'last trumpet' sounds. This inheritance is far superior to that of the angels of heaven, if you stay the course and not give up (on your commitment to GOD to obey HIM as your GOD). Angels do not have immortality but you will. In the face of such an awesome future don't expect the journey to be easy. Top athletes train their body relentlessly to be at the top of their field and all that they can attain to is a fleeting momentary glory. The glory you can attain to as a Son of GOD is far far greater and it is forever.

Number Three.

Once you have made that commitment of undergoing baptism there can be no turning back or faltering. Forever shame awaits all who falter. Forever death all those who turn back. Do not treat this lightly. This is one decision that will change your future forever either way, you really don't want to screw it up.

Do not be insincere to enter into your covenant with GOD in bad faith. This the ancient Israelite who came out of Egypt did, that was why they all died in the wilderness and never entered into the promise land, all those twenty years and older except for Joshua and Caleb. They were insincere in their commitment to the covenant they made to be a special people who worship the CREATOR GOD. They saw the promises of blessings and being protected by HIM from their enemies. But they were not prepared to fulfill their obligation of obeying GOD and keeping all HIS commandments, charges, instructions and obeying HIS voice. Because of bad faith they were unable to love HIM (Deuteronomy 6:5; 10:12; 11:13 - 14; 13:4; Joshua 22:5), their GOD, BENEFACTOR and DEFENDER. So they all perished in the wilderness. And most of their dependents, generation after generation did likewise and suffered a similar fate.

Number Four.

The commitment you will make is not just only to obey GOD absolutely, but to have faith in GOD, to love HIM. To hold on the belief that GOD loves you and wants only good things for you, even when everything appears to be going against you, even when all manner of evil and harm are falling upon you like hailstones in a hail storm. And on that faith to walk against all signs and indications to the contrary, against all threat and danger and temptation. Clinging on to the faith that can see you walk on water, move mountains, walk into burning inferno (Romans 8:18). Faith is very simple but hardly easy.

Do not be deceived or act deceitfully. If you can't commit to the requirement of the Everlasting Covenant do not enter into it. JESUS CHRIST requires all HIS disciples to endure persecution including imprisonment, torture and death to obey, keep and perform all HIS commandments, charges and instructions. All these are clearly written in the Christian Holy Scriptures and the Jewish Scriptures. The requirement is the same as with the ancient Israelite which is and has been to love GOD with all your heart, mind, soul (life) and strength. In simple English it means, 'To love GOD unreservedly, without reservation, without holding back anything at all'. Not persecution, torture, harm or death should prevent or hinder you from loving and obeying GOD absolutely'.

The promises is a forever inheritance of immortality with immense power and authority to rule over all things. Yes everything forever. Man throughout the thousand of years of human history have strive harder and gave up more for alot less. All they could attend to were the temporary glory, fame and power that perish together with them. You, if you enter into and continue on in this Everlasting Covenant in this life will inherit the Kingdom, to have the Life and Glory of GOD, yielding the power that GOD yields (Romans 8:18; 1 Corinthians 2:9). GOD is infinitely wise and knows better than to give such glory and power to any self expediently wicked person or any cowardly wimp or any self centred self seeking parasite (Revelation 21:8).

All who attain to the first resurrection as the First Fruits to GOD will rule under and with JESUS CHRIST and HIS FATHER (Daniel 7:22, 27; Matthew 25:34; Jude 1:14; Revelation 5:10; 20:4, 6). Ruling over everything forever (Hebrew 2:5; 1 Corinthians 6:2 - 3), including the angels and over the rest of all mankind who will attain to eternal life at the Final Judgment. This is not a temporary inheritance or wealth that perishes with time and the using (Matthew 16:19 - 20).

Number Five.

Once you have made the commitment by seeking and going through with the baptism ceremony, realize that this is just the very first step to a life's journey of faith in GOD. Be aware of all the pitfalls of this life and this world. Commit yourself to a pattern of regular prayer, diligent study of the Scriptures, regular fasting to learn the Word of GOD that it might be the framework for the conduct of your life (Deuteronomy 8:3; Matthew 4:4; 7:24 - 27; Luke 4:4), to produce the good works that will build you to the Day of the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Put all these knowledge into the conduct of your life (Matthew 7:24), seeking GOD's righteousness and Kingdom. This is what GOD's will is for you (Matthew 7:21 - 24). That you should set as your primary focus, and first and over riding priority to establish every thing you do (work and words) to align them with GOD's will that they might advance you towards that goal of everlasting glory.

Number Six.

Do not be shaken by anything. In your life journey as a Saint and Elect of GOD there are going to many trials and tests and temptations. At times you are going to become very confused. Cling on to the things you know for a certainty (Deuteronomy 30:20). That is why it is so important for you to know the GOD of the Bible. GOD is an unchanging faithful and trustworthy GOD WHO never goes back on HIS Word and HIS commitment to you (Psalm 89:34; Judges 2:1). The only one who can fail in your covenant with GOD is you. It is not GOD's will that you should fail (Matthew 18:14).

Obedience is the main thing. In it you demonstrate your faith in GOD exactly as Abraham did (Genesis 26:5). That is why it is very important for you to study the Bible thoroughly so that you may know the commandments, judgment, statutes, percepts and all the Words of GOD. They are your anchor to HIS way and the framework to seeking and knowing HIS will. Always maintain a humble attitude (Micah 6:8; Malachi 4:1), earnestly in all things to seek after the righteousness that comes from GOD. Never try to establish your own righteousness and fall in the pit of bigotry and hypocrisy.

Do not allow yourself to get fixated on anything that is of this temporary physical life be they wealth, security, fame. honour, comfort, health or anything at all. Fix your focus on the eternal inheritance that awaits you after you have endure to the end (Matthew 10:22; 24:!3).

Number Seven.

You have a powerful enemy in Satan and all those he acts through. That can include you if you let him channel your thoughts to his direction and orientation. The real struggle of your life is spiritual in nature. The target of that is your mind and heart. These are your emotions (passions and fears), contemplations and reasoning resulting in the decision you will make on what you will say or do and the direction you will take in you life.

Now that you have chosen to go GOD's way, Satan the Devil will hate you more than ever, and more than all the rest of mankind. He will pull all stop to destroy you. He will attack you mentally, emotionally and physically through his agents. Your only weapon is your faith in GOD but that is all you ever need. JESUS when HE was a man like you and me, defeated Satan because of HIS faith in HIS FATHER, and YOUR FATHER (John 20:17) if you believe and accept the calling of JESUS CHRIST (Matthew 12:50).

It is a war you can win if you establish yourself in GOD and JESUS CHRIST. Know for a certainty that there will be many battles where you will lose, and sin as a result (Proverb 24:16). Just make sure you don't lose the war by giving up (Mark 13:13).

What Is Baptism?

Baptism is a symbolic but necessary gesture on the part of a repentant person to say to GOD that he or she is sorry and remorseful for sinning and rebelling against GOD, that he or she is now committed to repent from that rebellion to obey and submit to GOD's authority.

In as much at the two trees in the Garden of Eden are symbolic yet carried real consequences. So also is going through the process of baptism. Of these two trees, one symbolized life while the other symbolized death. Adam and Eve ate of the tree that symbolized death so they died and are dead, and all man born of woman since then has an end of life which is death. JESUS CHRIST came born as a SON of man that through HIS death as the LAMB of GOD to pay the full penalty for all mankind's sins, HE would mediate the New Covenant in the Passover with HIS BLOOD in order to redeem all mankind from this death through a resurrection to life just HE is the first born of this resurrection and now live forever sitting on the right and of GOD.

Baptism while demonstrating the repentant sinner's commitment to GOD, turning from his/her self expedient way, also symbolizes a death to the carnal self (Romans 6:3). That we have buried our carnal self and its 'inherent' self expediency with JESUS CHRIST in HIS death and have re-emerged from the burial to a new life orientation (Romans 6:4, 10) which is opposite of self expediency towards the life of JESUS CHRIST (Mark 8:34; Matthew 10:38) WHO lived HIS life as a SON of man solely and fully committed to seek and do the will of the FATHER (Matthew 7:21). Performing all HIS FATHER's commandments (John 15:10) and doing HIS FATHER'S work (John 10:37, 25, 32; 14:10 - 11), going about HIS FATHER'S business (Luke 2:49).

If you are ready to make this forever commitment to trust and obey GOD then you have to go through the baptism process as ordained by GOD, this is a must. JESUS CHRIST when HE first came as a SON of man went first to be baptised by John before HE started HIS ministry (Matthew 3:13 - 16). JESUS CHRIST kept all HIS FATHER's commandment without compromise, without fail, without faltering (Isaiah 42:3 - 4). JESUS CHRIST lived HIS life as a SON of man as an example for us to follow in HIS footsteps (John 13:15). GOD leads by example and not by lip service.

All the Apostles that were hand-picked by JESUS CHRIST were baptized at their conversions. Every man and woman who wants to make that commitment to turn from their life, repent from their sins and self expediency must be baptized. This is a process that demonstrates as a sign to GOD that you are willing to die to follow JESUS CHRIST in as much as the partaking in the commemoration of the Passover annually is a requirement of your covenant with GOD and JESUS CHRIST. The same commemoration demonstrates your commitment to this Everlasting Covenant as a sign to GOD that you have not turned back to the way of the world following after Satan.

It is the New Covenant sign that you are a begotten son of GOD, a true Christian if your commitment is done in continuing good faith and in genuine sincerity. The Jews today think they are still the people of the CREATOR GOD, the GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, because they keep the Sabbath, the Ten Commandments and all the Holy days. They DO NOT REALIZE THAT THEY are not the people of the Almighty GOD anymore. That Old Covenant ended when JESUS CHRIST died on the cross. Sabbath and commandments keeping alone no longer signified you as a true worshiper and the people of GOD unless you also having being baptized and having received the HOLY SPIRIT continue to commemorate the New Covenant in partaking of the Passover (on the GOD ordained  and JESUS CHRIST instituted day and time) with the New Covenant symbols of unleavened bread and wine representing CHRIST flesh and blood (John 6:53 - 56).

This is the very reason an apostate part of the Church of GOD from the Thyatira period (Revelation 2:20 - 23) which still keeps the Sabbath rest but changed the commemoration of the Passover is not the Church of GOD but Antichrist (Revelation 2:23). Anyone who understand Biblical symbolism will know what sexual immorality is in a Spiritual context. Here is another key, the term 'eating things sacrificed to idols' in the Book of Revelation refers to the changing of the New Covenant Passover commemoration to a manner or time from that which GOD had ordained as instituted by JESUS CHRIST before HE suffered.

How do you get baptized and who can baptize you?

Can you baptize yourself? Can just about anyone baptized you? Now if you have been truthful and faithful and committed, you won't need to ask these questions, because you would have understood it from reading the Christian Bible thoroughly a few times as I have advised.

But for the sake of the “rocket scientists” and also for those who have not done as I have advised, but felt so sorrowful and remorseful of their own life orientation and wants to make an urgent commitment to GOD immediately after understanding all these things (that you have read so far in this work) I will touch a little bit on the baptism ceremony - the 'how' and 'whom' requirement.

As baptism is a death of the self (Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12), the process involves the person who is undergoing baptism to be ‘buried’ in the water. That means a total submersion of the entire body of the person for a few seconds. As he or she is being submerged into the water the person under going baptism should pray for forgiveness in his/her heart to GOD briefly confessing his/her sins in sincere repentance. It is a baptism of repentance, not a baptism into a religious institution or church or congregation. Baptism is a necessary symbolic expression of repentance and a commitment to die to the self. To die to the self expediency of the carnal self.

Baptism is symbolic of death, a dying of the self to self expediency (i.e. a mainly and primarily self focus and self centered behavior and conduct of life). The new life you will live after baptism is a life lived to obey GOD absolutely. No longer seeking after yourself to advance yourself but of seeking to do the will of GOD even if it means you will be harmed or killed for so doing.

Baptism is not a purification ceremony. It is not about washing away or a cleansing of sin. It is about making the commitment to GOD to accept GOD as your GOD and henceforth to follow in the way of life exemplified by JESUS CHRIST seeking to do the will of GOD in total commitment and obedience. It is about dying through a symbolic burial (Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12).

Once raised up from the water the conductor of the baptism ceremony, who must be a person recognized as a true minister or true Messenger of GOD having the HOLY SPIRIT, should then lay hands on the newly baptised person, calling on GOD to give him/her the HOLY SPIRIT (Acts 8:15 – 17; 9:17; 11:16; 19:5 – 6).

Please read the discussion ‘Christianity — Know The Basics’ in the post ‘Why Create Life Through The Process Of Evolution’ in the blog ‘The Holy Bible Expounded’ to understand the anointing requirement in the conversion process to becoming a true Christian, the true disciples of The LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Who Should You Seek When You Seek To Be Baptized?

Can just about anyone conduct the baptism? If not then who?

JESUS CHRIST, the SON of GOD, as a SON of man went to John the Baptist.

Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. And John tried to prevent Him, saying, “I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?”
But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him.
Matthew 3:13 – 16

JESUS CHRIST did not go to the priest who ministered in the temple of Jerusalem in HIS days. HE did not go to the local synagogue to be baptized by those who ministered there. HE went to the one that GOD authorized. JESUS CHRIST was greater than John the Baptist (Matthew 3:14) yet HE went to be baptised by John. Why?

In order to fulfill all righteousness (Matthew 3:15), to set us an example (John 13:15) so that we would not be deceived and confused by all the lies that is taught about this very first step that every repentant sinner must take in their conversion. Yes, the very same reason HE had rested on the seventh day of Creation Week in Genesis chapter 2.

And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.
Genesis 2:2 – 3
Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.
Exodus 20:8 – 11

Should you come to this author to be baptized? Only if you are unable to find a true minister of GOD being unsure where is and which is the Church of GOD. If you are able to do so, go to the Church of GOD and seek those who minister there, to be baptized by them.

If you are not already a member of the Church of GOD or a prospective member, they will require you to bear fruits of repentance (Matthew 3:8; Luke 3:8) and will question you on your understanding of your commitment before they will baptize you. You may need to undergo some sort of probation until those who minister there can see signs (Matthew 3:8) that you are sincere and understand the message of the Gospel. And that is proper (1 Timothy 5:22). This author will require no less. If they refused to entertain (or refused to baptized you for whatever reason) you then and only then should you seek out the other members of GOD's Elect in the many other congregational entities of the so called Churches of God that are closest to you. If you are uncertain and wants to check with this author to confirm whether anyone who claimed themselves to be are the true Elect of GOD, you can (if you so choose) write to this author if you think that I can be trusted. But don't bother to if you are suspicious of this author or are insincere.

A True Disciple of JESUS CHRIST.

Who is a true disciple of JESUS CHRIST?

If you have been baptized by a member of the ministry in the Church of GOD or by a Messenger of GOD (a person who speaks the true message or Word of GOD), are you then a true disciple of LORD JESUS and consequently a begotten son of GOD?

Yes and no. Many were baptized during the Apostolic times, a fair number personally by the Apostles of CHRIST themselves (Acts 8:9 - 23). But most were not true Christians but impostors, agents and disciples of Satan the Devil. That was what the Scripture of Truth recorded.

Why? Because they were not sincere in their repentance. They entered into their covenant with GOD in bad faith just as did ancient Israelite who were free from their bondage in Egypt. Just as the many who were ‘converted’ at the preaching of the Apostles and brethren in the Apostolic era, both Jews and Gentiles. Just as Ananias and his wife Sapphira. Read the account of their deceit and its consequence in the book of Acts chapter 5.

But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession. And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet. But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”
Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who heard these things. And the young men arose and wrapped him up, carried him out, and buried him.
Now it was about three hours later when his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. And Peter answered her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much?”
She said, “Yes, for so much.”
Then Peter said to her, “How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.” Then immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. And the young men came in and found her dead, and carrying her out, buried her by her husband.
Acts 5:1 - 10

Baptism does not make a person into a disciple of JESUS CHRIST, no more than just as uttering the words, 'I accept JESUS CHRIST as my personal savior' makes one a faithful true Christian. Balaam (Numbers 22:32) was a Prophet of GOD but he sure was not a true disciple of JESUS CHRIST (Matthew 6:24, 7:21).

The question at this point is, ‘Why then be baptized or undergo the baptism process (the submersion into water) if doing so does not automatically make one into a Christian?’

Because it is a requirement for repentance (Matthew 3:15) to physically and visually demonstrate on your part as a sign of your commitment to GOD, that you are repentant of your way of life and conduct and are from then on accepting GOD as your GOD to obey and follow absolutely. It is the sincere commitment to obedience that makes one a true Christian.

A “rocket scientist” may ask, ‘Wouldn't God know that I am truly repentant and have accepted Him as my God? Shouldn't that be enough? Why go through with such a meaningless symbolic gesture?’

If that is indeed a question that cross your mind, what it means is that in the deceitfulness of your heart you are saying, ‘God must accept me on my terms.’ Which translate as, ‘Who the ^%$@# are you God that I should go to YOU on your terms?’ Demonstrating on your part no repentance at all.

But the same “rocket scientists” might protest, ‘What if I keep all the commandments of the Bible, obey every instructions and charges. I also observe and commemorate all the Holy Days including the New Covenant in the Passover with the new symbols that JESUS instituted exactly as HE instituted it. I have turned from all my ways to fully seek God. Shouldn't that make me a disciple of Jesus Christ and a true Christian, why then should I still need to be baptized since it is just a ceremonial form?

I wont answer that question because anyone with even half a brain would be able to spot the problem (James 2:10 - 11) with the above hypothetical “rocket scientists” and the question that was posed. To be sure that question is a real one that had been posed and is still being posed by many such.

Just The Beginning.

Baptism is just the starting point of your pilgrimage, not the sum total of it. You must from then onward be fully, sincerely and fully committed to trusting GOD, living a life of always seeking GOD's will and direction, to obey all things that GOD commanded and instituted and ordained for you. That is why true sincerity on your part is very crucial in your conversion in baptism. The sincerity of repentance carried out in faith, that is what makes the difference between one who becomes and continues on as a true disciple from one who do not. Discipleship is a lifetime journey not a one act theater as has been the lies of the Christmas religion.

So he answered and said, “ ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’”
Luke 10:27 (also Deuteronomy 6:5, 10:12, 11:13, 13:3; Joshua 22:5; Matthew 22:37; Mark 12:30)

And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, “Here are My mother and My brothers! For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.”
Matthew 12:49 – 50

So are you a disciple of JESUS CHRIST? After your sincere repentance and baptism, you are the only other person who could determine that. Unless you are reprobate.
